Consultant - Robinson E-Consulting (April 1998 - Current) – My own consulting business - Designing, manufacturing, testing, and repairing of electronic circuit assemblies and software for them. Major clients: Servo To Go, Inc., Menard Engine Group, and Zionsville Engineering. Both MEG and ZE eventually employed me and I am still doing minor work for STG, which could be brought in with me.

Senior Engineer - Menard Engine Group [Bought by Indy Engine Group, which closed the Electronics Department] (June 2008 - February 2010) - The main task here was the design of a car Dash for racing vehicles. Other projects included minimizing digital designs, filter subroutines, math subroutines (a quick assembly language square root routine without using estimation), code reviews, debugging others software & hardware, using IDE (Microchip & Eclipse), and researching & selecting processor modules and circuit components.

Senior Engineer - Zionsville Engineering, Inc. [Closed] (June 1999 - June 2000) - One of the main tasks here was the design of a user interface program using C++ Builder for downloading settings to a radio from a Paradox database. Other accomplishments were: designing circuits using CPLD to save circuit board space and component cost, debugging assembly language programs, and discovering a flaw in a microprocessor.

Central Engineering Manager / Computer Engineer - Span, Inc. (July 1988 - April 1998) - From October 1995 (CEM): defined procedures, requirements, and documentation for bringing products from engineering to production. Full project management of an 8-axis motion control ISA bus card design. Previous to 1995: software & circuit board design, printed circuit board layout, testing & repair, specification & installation of a NetWare system with both PC & Macintosh clients, and collaborated to design a multiprocessor marine sonar system. Received patents for work on the design of a floating globe project and a system for an automated grain dryer.

Chairman of Facility Deacons, College Park Church: (2 years) - Organized a group of 10-13 men to take care of the church grounds and building. Also organized work days where there were sometimes 40 or more volunteers. Coordinator, Living Faith Singles - CPC: (1 year) - Coordinated activities and led many of the bible studies. General - CPC: (13 years) - Helped to organize service trips, activities, and newsletters for the singles group. Helped as a general Facility Deacon for 9 of these years.
